The Catering Department of the Parliament of Victoria aims to use locally grown and produced Victorian foods, wherever possible, to offer the best quality seasonal menus. Our changing menus showcase the richness and diversity of Victoria’s produce, with each menu featuring the flavours of a different geographical region of Victoria.

The Parliament of Victoria has been serving traditional afternoon tea since 1924. Strangers Corridor is renowned for its afternoon tea of freshly baked scones with jam and cream, exquisite pastries and finger sandwiches on tiered stands daily.
Upon arrival at Parliament House, take a guided tour of the Parliament, then enjoy a glass of sparkling wine, whilst afternoon delicacies and unlimited freshly brewed tea and coffee is brought to your table. Vegetarian and gluten-free options can be catered for at no extra cost; please advise any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Our Luxury Afternoon Tea is served Monday to Friday on non Parliamentary sitting days between 2:30pm and 4:00pm.
